About BIG STEEL TRAIN
BIG STEEL TRAIN started as a collaborative effort between engineers and shop-floor veterans. Based at 1310 Sportsman Dr, Jeffersonville, IN, we observed a gap between academic steel engineering concepts and practical shop execution. We noticed that while technology advanced rapidly, documentation and shared knowledge lagged behind. This platform was established to bridge that gap. We do not manufacture hardware; we cultivate understanding of industrial steel systems.
Our team believes that sharing knowledge raises the quality bar for the entire sector. We analyze structural welding methods without endorsing specific tools or vendors. We look at why certain heavy steel structures fail and why others stand for decades. The content here is designed to support continuous learning.
